Save2PDF for iPhone and iPad Now

Apple may have done more than any other company, outside of Adobe, to create a PDF that the lingua franca of cross-platform format like this now. This is so, largely, by including the ability to create PDF files directly into the Print dialog box in Mac OS X, and also by adopting PDF as the standard format for previewing files before printing. This is for the benefit of Apple, and Adobe, as PDF is widely exchanged between desktop publishers and graphic artists long before the development of OS X.

But more importantly, it has been profitable everyday users, on all platforms-for practical purposes, the PDF has replaced the fax, this format also allows individuals and organizations to save the file in a format that can be seen (and sometimes edited) even when The original application used to create the document is not available.

While reading the PDF files on the iPhone and iPad has been made possible through the Safari mobile (if they encountered while browsing PDF), and also through third-party applications such as GoodReader and Evernote a lot, they have created problems at all. When EuroSmartz introduced for iPhone and iPad Save2PDF end of 2010, he created a category in which he remains a top choice.

If you are not familiar with the company, it results in killing of printing applications for the iPhone, iPod Touch, and IPAD. As with all products I use EuroSmartz, Save2PDF just work, and includes some very useful document management and synchronization capabilities as well. In applications that allows printing, when you see something you want to save as a PDF file, you press on the "share" dropdown (usually represented by a curved arrow pointing right), which also usually print options. When Save2PDF installed, you press Print, and the dialog box appears, allowing you to save a file as a PDF in a local directory.

From Save2PDF app, you can collect the documents, download and save files as PDF files from Google Docs, Dropbox, and other cloud services; e-mail files; export them to the cloud location, open it in other applications, such as GoodReader, Noterize, Quickoffice, or Evernote; preview of the file, access contacts and photos, create a text file, and merge several files into PDF. Built-in Web browser allows you to save Web pages and e-mail as PDF files, too. You also can rename files, organize them in folders, and create a zip (compressed) files either from individual files or folders, which helps save storage space.

While Save2PDF is a remarkable application that provides functions that are quite unique, does have some drawbacks. During testing in the IPAD run both IOS 4.2 and later IOS 4.3, app fell over a few times. More important in everyday use is that some of the iconic interface is not very helpful, giving little clue about what their function will be called. Even after using the application repeatedly over several weeks, it's hard to remember the different abilities will be discovered by a plus (+) icon than the "bubble text" (or a computer screen?) Icons. It can remain on the iPad, because there are a lot of screen real estate to add text or icon labels either make it easier decipherable.

IPhone version works the same way with the version of the iPad, and while the document management more difficult on the small screen, navigating through the various options offer the application is, ironically (or, iconically) much easier: icons representing different functions front and center on screen iPhone app startup, while the IPAD they are small and moved into two small strip at the bottom of the screen.Source:mcworld
